Services Provided: Flood Risk Assessment and SuDS Report, SuDS Report to discharge planning conditions, and Below Ground Drainage Design for Building Regulations approval and construction
Nimbus Engineering was commissioned by Kearns Development Ltd to prepare a Flood Risk Assessment (FRA) and SuDS report to support a planning application for a proposed development of 12 residential apartments in Uxbridge.
We worked closely with the client and liaised directly with the Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) at the London Borough of Hillingdon to deliver a cost-effective drainage solution. Our initial scope involved the provision of a comprehensive Flood Risk Assessment and SuDS Report that complied with both local and national SuDS policies.
Due to the success of this initial phase, our experienced team was further appointed to deliver the SuDS design and supporting report required to discharge planning conditions set out by Hillingdon Council. In addition, the client instructed us to undertake the below ground drainage design in accordance with Building Regulations and construction standards.
We attended regular on-site meetings throughout the project to ensure timely delivery within budget. Our engineers also worked collaboratively with the construction team to address site-specific challenges, ensuring smooth implementation of the drainage strategy.
